'A Broom With A View'
was completed
13/03/06.
The
title is obviously a pun on the famous film 'A Room
With A View'
Tate
& Lyle produce sugar.
"Everywhere
I look is a darkness." Is a line from the McLusky
song 'Without MSG I Am Nothing'.
The
goat decription obviously refers to the
Billy Goats Gruff story.
'Permission
To Land' is the name of the debut album from The Darkness.
The
description references are mainly about 'The Broom
Cupboard'. In the late 80's to early 90's the childrens
TV on the BBC was done with two cameras in a studio
that was litterally a few metres square. Andi Peters
was one of the two presenters during this time. The
other was Philip Schofield. There was a couple of
puppets who also shared the screen time. Gordon the
Gopher and Edd the Duck, both of whom became television
institutions.
Edd
The Duck (who sported a green mohawk) even became
the team mascot for the GB Olympic team in the 1992
Barcelona games.
The
last line references the Meatloaf song "I'd Do
Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" |
