Sonic Site Awards 2009 Are Open

...and they're looking kinda barren.

The greatly reduced awards have finally gone online for people to vote for over at The Sonic Stadium and I've gotta say I'm kinda worried about the fansites because when you take out TSS (for obvious reasons), SCD (which is effectively dead), Sonic Wrecks (because we're far too awesome) and Sonic Retro (ditto) we're apparently left with some very curious entries.

What I do like tho is that its much more global this time, so we've got sites from all over the place! :)

Happy Halloween - The Sounds Archive Returns & More...

Honestly first I'm helping out Channel 5 and now I've been helping out BBC Radio 1 - and its nothing to do with this fact (....honest....) that the Sounds archive page has returned in a slightly newer format.

Thera are now wav/mp3 sfx up for Sonic 1, Sonic 3 and Sonic Advcenture with more returning soon.

I'll be getting the All-Star Racing Curien Mansion videos up at some point soon. Also Ram The Dragon has done the missing Radio Redux show notes for the show after Summer of Sonic 2009 and of course there have been some spooky additions to SW.

Mario & Sonic Winter Videos - The Works!

Now in the Shadow Depository, ALL the Mario & Sonic trailers I can lay my hands on completely up to date. This includes all available American and launch trailers brining us up to 14 trailers different videos.

3GB worth of new video files have been added bringing the grand total for M&S Winter videos to FIFTEEN GIGABYTES of Mario & Sonic action.

Sonic Wrecks are going to host a bit of a fanart competition you know, specifically for some Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games wonderment. We'll have more on this exciting developmentsoon!

Also our great ~~nemesis~~ friend Vger ~~the Port swilling swine~~ of ~~bitter rivals and grossly inferior Sonic product~~ Emerald Coast is 24 today. We salute him and furvently wish ~~his eyes boil in their sockets and a rabid fox eats his testicles~~ he has a fantastic day.

About 3Gb worth of video has been added to the Shadow Despoistory as the All-Star Racing page is brought up to date and rejigged to the "flag" format and the Mario & Sonic page has had the US and UK versions of Trailer 10 and the USA version of Trailer 11 (which has yet to received a European release) added to it.

This has led to the unusual situation of the ESRB US version going up on the Sonic Wrecks YouTube and not the UK PEGI version.

Oh well, I'll be getting the European versions of Trailer 10 up as soon as I'm able. Also there will be a new comic next Sunday and possibly one the Sunday after. Gauranteed.

Downtime Yesterday

SW was down for a large part of yesterday owing to an issue at Startlogic's data server, actually this was the first downtime the site has experienced in about six months... other Sonic sites would kill for that.

Anyway everything is back up, next Redux will likely go up later.

Though saying that it seems Startlogic are still having some issues... pages may 500, please press refresh if you get any and hopefully the problem will resolve.
