It's not that well known, but Yuji Naka is a bit of a petrolhead and is a big fan of motor racing, so it was little surprise that Sonic eventually turned his begloved hands to a racing adventure. Taking on Amy, Tails and Eggman you have to navigate around twisting courses using the 'drift' method to slide around corners and maintain speed.
Ironically, this game never reached these European shores and consequently it's sequel was named Sonic Drift Racing, not Drift 2 as a result.
