Sonic CD (USA) SONIC CD (USA) – (1993)

While you battle through time without a care against Robotnik’s henchmen in this 1993 offering, you came up against Metal Sonic for the first time. Of course back in the day he was known as “Metallix” a name which has stuck a lot longer in the comics.

Though Sonic CD’s US soundtrack is often thought as “Inferior” to its japanese cousin. Bare in mind the amount of time given to make it was ridiculously small – and still it provided us with the most recognisable track of both soundtracks in title theme “Sonic Boom”.
