Nothing quite beats the original eh? This is the game that introduced us to the concept of levels being zones, that robotic crabs are none too friendly and that it was cool to collect rings if you were a guy…

It also introduced us to the fastest thing alive, making all plumbers everwhere look incredibly pedestrian by comparison.
