Sonic and chums take on the kart racer was produced by SUMO Digital, famed for SEGA Superstars Tennis and their Virtua Tennis and OutRun conversions. The 360 version contained extras not featured in other versions thanks to the team up with Microsoft and Rare, these included functionality for the Avatars to race as well as the inclusion of the Rare bear himself Banjo (plus Kazooie naturally).
