Sonic's been away for a while and when he returns he finds Green Hill overrun by hostile creatures, a mysterious new race, Knuckles has gone missing and 6 of the Chaos emeralds too. most shockingly though Amy isn't bowled over to see him and has a boyfriend called Dexter!

Sonic stars in this, his first RPG outing for the Nintendo DS.
