“That Damn Clock” Returns & More In SEGA’s Play For Japan Appeal

Proving that there is something that’s been tossed around more than the rights to Atari’s name, the seemingly never ending saga of what we can only describe as “That Damn Clock” gained a new lease of life today when it was added along with an array of other items to SEGA’s “Play For Japan” eBay campaign.

The clock, which was given away at the SOA Sonic 4 feedback session, was partly defaced, put up on eBay, bought by Skyler from Retro and sent back to SEGA at Christmas has now gone on eBay for a second time this time now signed by Ken “Just Call Me Ken” Balough and featuring his visage at number 12.

God knows what will happen next with this… er… well, let’s face it. It’s utter tat isn’t it? But the good hearted community are already lined up to fork out over $120 for it. You can bid on this and other new items including:

  • An official Bayonetta costume – already at over $400
  • Sonic Colours soundtrack
  • A version of the smaller Sonic 15th Anniversary statue
  • Sonic Free Riders soundtrack
  • Sonic Colours UK version… bizarrely signed by the SOA marketing team.
  • “Project Needlemouse” T-Shirt
  • BioWare signed Sonic Chronicles cover
  • All-Stars Racing Tails figure

You can find out details of all of these and more over on the SEGA America Blog.
