The London MCM Expo.

Team SW rolled down there a year ago and thought about returning this year, though somewhat more prepared – like having a bag so you can put your coat in for when you need to stop dehydrating to death from the mass of humanity. Or a camera. Or money so when you randomly find ancient Archie comic pages you can actually buy some.

Unlike last year though for some reason or another there didn’t seem to be much that appealed this year appart from the Futurama panel and SW’s new friends at . A lot of the familiar faces from the UK crew where there with myself, Echo Hawk, TallGuy and the Emerald Coast staff (Vger, Urtheart and Nemain) representing SW. EC + TallGuy were in cosplay as the Call Of Duty Zombie crew. I was dressed as ArchangelUK, which I can sort of carry off without much expense. As such I’m not pictured.

Dreadknux betrayed all of you SEGASonic fans by dressing up as Miles Edgeworth from Capcom’s Ace Attourney series. You may have some sort of OBJECTION! to that.

I’m pleased to say that there were actually SONIC COSPLAYERS this year – numerous ones! Rather nicely most of them where going around in the group – and we had Summer Of Sonic 2010 drawstring bag sightings!

Blaze knew who I was after I said “AAUK” and therefore wins. I sent them off to hunt down Dreadknux – I wonder if they succeeded...

This group here are apparently all going to Summer Of Sonic 2011 so we look forward to them competing in the cosplay competition. We also spotted two Amy Rose, another Shadow, a Metal Sonic, two Dr. Eggmen one of which was wearing bizzare hypnotic glasses. A Wave the Swallow who looked absolutely EXHAUSTED, the poor girl. Along with two additional Sonics which included this very lanky Sonic who was taller than even Vger and TallGuy – and they make me look small at 6ft+.
