The Antiques Bird Show has been moved to the Radio Redux downloads section perminently (it does include me and the Chaotix after all). I've also put up the short version of the Radio Redux theme used on #207.

Well, it's that time of the year when the Royal Ascot absorbs that block of Daytime TV where you'd usually expect Diagnosis: Murder, so there are hats-a-plenty floating about on this typically English occassion...but alas! I am not here to talk about hats!!! Tomorrow (as you will no doubt be very well aware) is Sonic's 16th Birthday.

Yes kids, Sonic is now old enough to smoke. SSR (That's the TSS radio milarky) is going all-out with a 10 hour birthday spectacular! Not only that, Mr AAUK, Dreadknux, Elson "Darkspeeds" Wong and myself, along with some of your much-loved characters will be appearing in a 20 minute special during the Raccoon Zone Special (5pm-7pm BST)! The event will take place from 3pm BST, and continue until the wee hours of the morning. Tune in and join some of SSR's finest DJ's play their way through the best of Sonic's Soundtracks...

Our Imperial Leader would like to announce the following amendments to the following in the depository:

- A number of small code and detail fixes on the minor pages,
- The Sonic Rush Adventure announcement press release in Spanish
- The Sonic Rivals 2 press release
- Maps for several levels of Sonic 2, 3 and S&K.

AAUK Edit: It seems the Japanese are already on the birthday case, with Japanese residents able to enter a massive prize sweepstake and everyone able to download... a somewhat plain new wallpaper from Sonic Channel. There is also a MASSIVE new papercraft available to download that allows you to create the Tornado! Last but not least Sonic is making a new cameo - in Phantasy Star Universe! Tomorrow he will be appearing in the online game's lobby where you can 'meet' him and Tails as a special achievement to celebrate the spikey one's 16th. Check the Phantasy Star universe page for more details.

A BIG thanks to Lord Enerjak who has once again donated to the SW/RR Fund. For those who haven't seen the Sonic News commentary there won't be a SWA Creative Award after this year, so you shove that up your collective locations and oscillate.

On better news, the Shadow Depository now has had more image updates, with a new Sonic Riders section including character art, high quality packshots and logo. Not only that but the Staff page has returned in all it's hoakey glory - and we have new staff! Yes, whilst SW is still mostly an AAUK only creative exercise there are now two officially sanctioned members of staff with powers beyond your comprehension!!!!

Echo Hawk is finally given some kind of posting power and becomes a recognised staff member, but also joining the ranks is the ubiquitous T-Bird. Both of these will be posting on the news, so SW will be (theoretically) updating even more than it is already - which lets face it is a lot.

I think it’s a very poor showing of the person making the criticism that they can't be bothered to put their email in so I can properly respond to them in full. But since he's seen fit to criticise me in a roundabout way, I thought I'd respond here.

I do fan fiction myself (though not for a while admittedly) so if you don't like fan fiction don't vote for it. Then again you'll probably not like SW anyway, as that is fan fictional in that it takes the concept of Sonic and does things with it that references other games, television programs, movies, songs and what have you. Plus the obvious that it is fiction done by a fan.

It uses sprites therefore is not drawn. It uses sprites done by other people therefore the output is not 100% my own. All of which means clearly I myself, by your definition, haven't a creative bone in my body.

Cy-Fox didn't just get one nomination from people for this award he got several, and as a result I decided to put it in for a final berth. If you don't agree with me, that's your prerogative. If you wanted something else to be nominated, if there was all this other creativity you'd have liked to win then why did you not nominate something? I can only put forward things I know about from people. People obviously enjoy Cy-Fox otherwise I wouldn't have had so many nominations.

Maybe he has stretched the line a bit? If so, and you're so set against them winning - and oh, wait a second, he HASN'T won yet HAS he? VOTE FOR SOMEBODY ELSE when the polls open.

I can now announce something that has been cooking for some time, in that Radio Redux will be getting 12 extra shows a year. How so? Well I am very pleased to announce the official teaming up of Sonic Wrecks & Sonic Style to bring a new program to Radio Redux.

The Sonic Billboard Countdown (called Sonic Billboard Top Hits on SS) will now be appearing on the Radio Redux RSS, not only that but the SBC is now listed in our swank looking rejigged archive section with toggleable selections. Toggleable I say! RR shownotes and details will also be appearing on Sonic Style as a result.

You might not know what the Sonic Billboard is, so let me explain. No, I've found the time and mental state to go through and sort out another soundtrack page; I've decided to fill some gaps in the list that you might notice. As a result of this, the complete Sonic The Hedgehog 2 soundtrack is now available to download from the Shadow Depository section.

Tomorrow will see a few wallpapers that relate to all aspects of SW going up to download too, as well as some other items that might interest you (I'm starting SW#43 for instance) but tomorrow I'll be bringing you a MASSIVE bit of news. Stay tuned.
