Another small update for you, CJMErl's Red Weed event wallpaper is up as well as is the latest colouring paper from Sonic Channel, this time of that ESPing fellow Silver The Hedgehog.

We also have another new section in Miscellaneous called Lettercraft, which contains some Sonic-y stationary.

Lastly we've got three more awards up for this years SWA: Best Service, Newcommer (The Sonic Show) and Best Overall (Sonic Cage Dome).

Three more awards have been added to the SWA page, these are this years winners for The Big Boot (Sonic HQ), Creativity (The Sonic Show) and Resource (Fastfeet Media). I'm going to email the individual members with their awards later...

The Shadow Depository 2.0 reworking is now well underway; the newer format for the music section has its first two completed sections - one of which is a new games worth of mp3s. You can now get the complete soundtracks (with bespoke Shadow Depository album covers for iTunes or your iPod) for Sonic Triple Trouble/Sonic & Tails 2 and you can get your mitts on Knuckles' Chaotix for the first time as well.

A vast array of fanart has gone up in Fan's Corner from the last year and a half that Ram The Dragon has been sending me on and off. These include a fantastic mock-up of the front cover of "Shaddy Hogger & The Deathly Silence" from #045. Check it out.

In Entherial Online news, CJMErl (though Blake Draco pointed it out) has discovered another interesting E-On trick. It seems that the word 'crap' is replaced by 'charmy': i.e. "That's a bunch of Charmy!". That and STILL no-one has twigged what the rank "Gamma-ton Cleric" is a reference to! *Sigh*

With the forum (Entherial Online) now online, you might be wondering what big project I'm working on next. Well apart from a blog to be published in a short time, the Depository is getting a bit of an overhaul frankly; there's an AWFUL lot of media ready to go and that which is up in the music section is getting a facelift.

This is not directly connected with what was happening before, with the new page layouts, but the files themselves in the music section are getting a massive overhaul. The tags have been reworked in a lot of instances and all the mp3s (except where not appropritate) are getting a very snazzy new Shadow Depository tagged album cover for those who like to use iTunes and the like. There's also a lot of videos waiting in the wings for you, but I need a decent connection to upload those.

I'll let you know when new stuff appears of course.

In other news, the forum has found more ranks: Cream Crusader and Gamma-ton Cleric. I only hope they appreciate the significance of the latter and the brilliance of the filename.

I suppose posts about Entherial Online will be covered under 'community' now? Oh well... I would do another banner but I really can't be bothered atm.

Yes I finished THAT book yesterday and couldn't help laugh at how the film people are in SOOOO much crap now. A lot of today tho was spent ironing out little niggles here and there with E-On, though it seems to have handled everything thrown at it so far - with the exception of strikethroughs - those will be added to the BBCode list as soon as I am able to do it.

There are already people discovering little things, though no one has spotted the infamous Ben Campion, better known as DC - co-writer of the Redux stories where Alzari and Angelus originate from on there. I believe the following ranks are now discovered:

I'm working my way down and yes I know I'm being slow, but hopefully I'll get at least one done a day now until they are done.

That, and there are more awards about to commence besides the Sonic Site Awards - the Sonic Show Media Awards (which I had no influence at all in their creation, honest) - hosted by The Sonic Show. These will be awards for podcasts and radio shows presumably... so we'll have to keep an eye on those for Radio Redux, eh?

Big update again in images; there's a whole cavalade of new additions including items from the following games - Rivals, Adventure 2, Sonic 2, Rush, Riders, Adventure and Sonic 06. The update (which includes the new style page formating) is roughly 20Mbs in total and includes PS3 packshots, high quality character art and Brazilian packshots for the Master System II!? Jinkies!

Alshwo Shwaaggy, the forum gathers momentum: currently signed up for moderator roles are CJMErl, Echo Hawk and T-Bird. Expect it to launch - about two months ahead of schedule - on or by Saturday.

The SSA are open for nominations, please don't forget all the hard work thats been going on at SW & RR over the last 7 months or so.

A big change has occurred on the Radio Redux downloads page, it's been reworked and had some additions made in the form of the Angelus illustration used on the titles of RR#207's vidcast, my interview with Jet the Hawk from RR#209, the Chaotix skit which opened the WrecksFest show (RR#208) and a never heard cut sequence from T-Bird's Antiques Bird Show - played on SSR on The Raccoon Zone during the 16th Birthday celebrations - which never made it into the final cut.

Edit: Spare a thought for poor Sonic Cult who have suddenly had their hosting terminated without warning. They are looking to buy the hard drive from the people so they can get their stuff back - but are looking at a $150 layout or the loss of two months work. OUCH. Best of luck guys from all at SW.

I should probably get on with a new comic really shouldn't I? Ah well, I'm pleased to say that should probably be the case soon. As well as finishing off the SWA awards for the winners, however I've been busy on something else...

You may recall that there was talk about the SW forum- by which I mean an actual honest to goodness SW forum hosted on SW and run by SW. An official forum. Such went under the name Entherial Online a.k.a E-On.

THE FORUM IS OCCURING. Sooner rather than later frankly, we'll still be maintaining our affiliation-of-sorts with Echo Network but it'll be sharing forum page space with Entherial Online. It'll be SW centric, so you'll be able to discuss latest comics, general news, Radio Redux, Chaotix X, wtv... I also promise both a clever and entertaining rank system with absolutely NO possibly-cliquey badges! Lol.

I'll be keeping an eye over things from my massive throne of gold, blood, bones and old pizza boxes whilst handpicked SW Vets will patrol the corridors like some grizzled old Sonic janitor; which makes Echo Hawk the best damn looking janitor ever.

Listeners to SSR: Bored? Please remember that you get various wonderment such as the highly enjoyable Raccoon Zone doing livecasts (Mon, Weds for Roarey's show). So tune in for those. DO IIIIIT! DO IT NOWWWW!

The nice peeps at Power Rings seemed to really like their SWA award, even appreciating the attention to detail with 'Female Shadow' (see Power Rings for the ongoing story). But guys, "Shedow". Blatantly. Anyway they were very pleased and thankful, which gets them extra pimpage. Go to Power Rings: They are powerful... and ring-y!

There are a lot of things going up during the next few days, well I say that, we're in for another mass input starting from the Sonic Billboard of June you had a few days back. So I'm gonna be listing them here until something major occurs later on to warrent a seperate post.

The third annual 'Handies' awards are ready to be announced, for which we need some kind of ceremony right? After a nightmare day Radio Redux #209 is available to download from t3h iTunes and the RSS and such. Who has won - tune in to this mammoth show crammed full of kick ass music and entertainment. What surprise awards lie in wait for the unsuspecting!?

Actual awards will be given out in time, but as an extra special treat- S.W.A.G IS BACK! You can find it listed under the Vault section on the left. I'll be adding more stuff here tomorrow as we restart our mass media uploading on SW.

Additional Updates:

The Radio Redux Statpod has been drastically updated and expanded. The statpod, found on the Radio Redux section pages now lists the top 10 RR shows by length instead of the top 5. It also lists the tracks gaining the most number ones on the Sonic Billboard Countdown and charts my guest appearances on other radio shows.

The Fan's Corner (again in the Vault) now contains some more fanart, with two pictures from Echo Hawk - a drawing of Alzari as he actually looks (with Raine!) and sketch of 'avatar style' Angelus. I've finally found a Ram the Dragon pic from the archives too, and her drawing of poor DJ AAUK surrounded by all the items 'sold' in the Radio Redux advertisements are also up.

As spotted by CJMErl, the Nintendo conference trailer for M&S At The Olympics is now online here. Hopefully it's the same trailer I've seen so I can TALK about it... oh, w00t, I'm posting before Sonic News.

I'd download it now, but I'm uploading the SWA. It's JUST shy of 5hrs at 4:58, and only is that as I cut down things quite a lot and even took out 2 songs and an entire section. 87Mb is the size for those who care. Will be up by this evening.

EDIT: I'm having an utter nightmare this year, got about 15% still to upload but won't be able to finish until 9ish. Show will probably be up around 11pm GMT.

A year to the day since the 2006 show, the SWA 2007 show will be up TOMORROW, the 12th of July (probably very late on in the day frankly as its gonna be a bugger to upload on the 56K.

Some quick things: I'm STILL waiting for 208 to archive. So the SWA show is likely to be the 11th or possibly 12th, pity me and my 56k Vs 5hr podcast. Thanks to Roarey and the Racoon Zone (entertaining as ever) for giving us a nice little plug.

Also, as you can see on Sonic News (it lives, my goodness...) there's a new Sonic Rush Adventure trailer up so you can see which from the reaction of SN only proves what I've been banging on about that to me SRA is the most exciting Sonic game in a LONG time.

It seems Rivals 2 won't be at E3, oh well, as its somewhat more of the same from what we can gather I don't think that's a major worry. Something that is new from SEGA is a sci-fi prequel to Dungeon Quest and it seems someone at SEGA is taking inspiration from Dragon's Lair with this sequel (see: Space Ace) ironically called "Space Quest".

New RR programming for you as you wait for the SWA show to materialise, Demx (whose Mag 7 will make it into the show, length or no length) has posted the June 2007 chart for the Sonic Billboard and you can now download the accompanying podcast. Want me to sweeten the deal? Tough - that should be enough for you! Well, I'm on it as well as my little section the 'Remix Remit debuts this episode.

Anyway, it's now available to download on the Radio Redux RSS and iTunes; show notes and the archive page have also been updated.

Yes, you read it right the SWA are now CLOSED. I'll be verifying the voting, you may think you know who's won, but believe me some are devilishly tight and there is one major fraud attempt which when corrected WILL alter the votes of some of the apparent 'runaway victors' considerably. What I'm basically saying is: RESULTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE~!

Ooh er.

On better news we are now 3! Goo goo ga ga! As such we're now able to walk properly and have begun potty training; all very impressive for a website. Expect a sponsorship deal with Huggies lined up soon.

I'm sure he will appear on here to blow his own bugle - his trumpet got irrevocably damaged by a somewhat excitable Violet, true story... (marmalade was involved too but thats another tale for another day) but T-Bird has got his own show on SegaSonic Radio. I forget what it's called; I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it'll have some gratuious pun on the letter T; but it should be following the Joscelyne Bros and "The Sonic Hour" on Sundays.

Those lucky to listen to the stream last night would have caught his pilot show, alas I was at the 20-20 cricket match between Sussex and Essex so missed it. I am informed it WILL be appearing as a podcast; which will be interesting as to how it will appear - Radio Redux program 4? Hmm... doubtful. But we'll see.

• Fan's Corner has been updated once more with the page firstly getting a bit of an overhaul and also some fanart from Echo Hawk going up including a very snazzy painting of Angelus (seems someone has been reading Reality Redux a lot, heh). I've also put up the technical drawings T-Bird made for the Mecha Sonic figure he made as well as the Silver and Espio models he is making currently - the latter of which is being made in duplicate for me!


• There have been some small edits to the index and news pages, with the Forthcoming Projects list updated, the number of active news posts reduced and the code for the Shadow Topsites replaced.


• #043: Do You Know Who I Am? has been replaced with a newer version due to a quality control issue, this comic now also has it's full set of comic notes.

Depository Update: Yes, we've got more media to kick off July with. Now you are able to download tracks from Sonic Drift, Sonic Jam and also the soundtrack of Sonic R. Can YOU feel the sunshine? I thought so.

I might be re-adding the "old" version of S.W.A.G back to Sonic Wrecks later before I start thinking about working on the newer more complete version. The rest of today is to be spent on various Redux-y things, myself and that scourge of the kitchen - Digicowboy, have been discussing some of the more fundamental points of the origins of Angelus, Alzari and company. So maybe the Redux Histories page and associate media will also materialise soon.

LATE NIGHT DEPOSITORY EDIT: Hey guys, there has been some more media added to the Depository. Aren't we special? The SonicTeam PowerPlay album has been added to the music section, this showcases the reworked page setup for albums that will be rolling out across the music section in time. I've also added this formatting to the Club Saturn album and that has had some better quality cover images added.

The Image section has also seen some additions, with Rivals recieving two big renders of Knuckles in Armour and Leather outfits whilst Riders has gotten more character art (Sonic, Jet and Storm). Lastly the Default skin has had TWELVE more random headers added to the rotation, these are really obscure ones and reference the Remix album songs. I should be adding a several more to the other skins over the rest of the week.
