Nice to see the "game" has progressed to TSS's rotating header text. I could think of quite a few things to put on ours believe me but this will do for now. Its a good time to take a break from SSMB I think and concentrate on the new Entherial Online and get that working properly.

In other news in response to concerns of fans SEGA have announced they are only going to do one 2D platformer based on the orginals in 32-bit graphics and a map pack every year so people can have the same thing over and over and over again and be happy.

Or alternatively we can have a bit of variety, keep it fresh and maybe wait until we have more details on something than just a name and an image before going off at the deep end on just how bad something is?

A brand new, and quirkily different trailer has gone live for Sonic Unleashed as Werehog Sonic hunts through the night streets causing panic to the PITIFUL human populous. First spotted on g4tv.com but I've now got the file and have both YouTubed it and added it to the Shadow Depository.

In other news the Princess of Soleanna was sectioned under the mental health act today after developing a worrying attachment to a hairbrush. She was said to have been found clutching the prickly item too her of a night time whilst claiming she must keep smiling so it will save her from certain doom.

This is the second in a series of bizarre public order issues effecting Soleanna town after a man was finally dragged off a roof last week having spent two years above the streets claiming to be a ghost. He was in fact retired janitor Barry Dustill wanted for several public nudity offences. He was remanded in custody pending a judicial review.

- Sonic Wrecks went down over a period yesterday while our hosts did some maintainence to the general server system, which is fair enough.

- TSS is currently down, this also affects the Summer of Sonic page as a result, but when it comes back check it out as a regular blog is now taking place. The rumoured podcast guide will be happening as soon as we get a few things/people/items concerned finalised.

- I know SW's not been its usual updatey self recently, hopefully over the weekend I'll be able to do a comic - on the subject of Meems. I'm pulling a lot of hours on SoS atm and a lot of creative juice is being expended on some things I really hope those people who look around at SoS wil appreciate. Tomorrow the Clusterf*** III show notes will be going up.

- A minor edit to the #401 page will also go up tomorrow as well as a misc SD update.

Okay, okay bit late - sorry my ISP went down for unknown reasons. The latest show has gone up on iTunes, the RSS feed, RRPlay, the lot as usual. The archive, has been updated as well and I've also fixed a peculiarity on the show notes that resulted in two arrows at the top of the pages when one should have been - speaking of showotes LivE #103's are up courtesy of Mr Draco Esq.

SSR is having issues at the moment apparently so there may or may not be a RR LiVE tomorrow - not quite sure at this stage.

I can also confirm that a display of Sonic X original artworks including sketches and time sheets will be appearing in a display at Summer Of Sonic. Why? I just bought them.

Sorry boys and girls, been a bit busy this weekend - and now I have pins and needles in my right arm that are progressively getting worse. Owwww.

I forgot to upload the reformated main RR show notes, now moved to a natty subfolder in order to, you know, not overcrowd the /radio tree. Speaking of Radio Redux (Main) the most recent show #304 was broadcast today on SSR - that will materialise around about Wednesday I'll guess. The next three weeks will of course be LiVE shows. This show discussed the Summer of Sonic at length and will be worth a listen if you are interested in attending.

Also: I hope Blake Draco will be presenting me with some show notes soon, I'll be trying to do some additions to the Cast page, a new comic and MOST importantly the event from last month that was delayed is now going to be occuring NEXT week so BIG announcement for next Sunday's LiVE-cast.

Meanwhile I'm going to be discussing SoS stuff with Dreadknux next Tuesday. I hope to bring you more concrete details on some things by the end of next week.

PS: Radio Redux LiVE is going to be at the later UK time of 9-11pm (4-6pm EST) this Sunday as I do my part of the Sonic birthday bash livecast. Rockin' tunes a plenty.

That was the sole piece of feedback I gave Darkspeeds on his Summer of Sonic signature artwork. A fact I have remedied with a new Depository sectiion in Misc. for Sonic Channel Art. In it you can find SUPER GIGANTIC crisp and clean artwork for your use. The first is Tikal because, well, Tikal just rocks okay. Anyone cosplaying at SoS as Tikal = EPIC WIN.

Anyone cosplaying as Sheena Fujibayashi at SoS you'll be at the wrong convention, but hey SUPER-EPIC WIN with me!

I've also brought the Sonic Channel wallpapers bang up to date and made some changes to its page. So that means there's been about six new wallpapers added. The 07 Render series now have their relevant dates next to them too.

See, this is why you need to check SW out at least three times a day in case you miss any updates!

Bentley Jones posted a blog the other day that, if you saw it would have resulted in "Ahh!" As he's had a tumour removed from his back, well I'm pleased to say I dropped BJ a line and he's doing great, if a bit sore. In fact he's as much a reluctant workaholic as I am and has been recording songs whilst bandaged up... and sitting down.

We all wish him a speedy 100% recovery!

He's also expressed an intrerest (as I'd spoken about my own French efforts) in L'E.G.G.M.A.N - so I'm going to send him a link to Ram's pronunciation lesson. Nyah.

Following much complaining, lol, yesterdays LiVE show has gone on the Radio Redux feed and iTunes etc has been pinged to update itself. The show is also on RRPlay.

Additionally: the index page has been finalised with all the affiliates/etc links and hopefully won't need messing with for a while. Please note I've also included the "ones I've been meaning to include" so Radio SEGA, Sonic Yoda, Emerald Coast, Etc.

The Radio Redux archive has been updated, the Radio Redux StatPod has been greatly simplified as well and I've made one or two other alterations.

Sadly the 15/6 event has been put back until further notice which has upset me greatly naturally enough.

To compensate for this I've coaxed a new update in the form of the Sonic Chronicles traile. This is now up in a new game entry to the videos section and features not only the English/UK version but also the French, German, Spanish and Australian versions. For some reason there isn't an Italian version. I don't know why.

What makes it more impressive is that I'm plugging a cover of a track the original of which I couldn't give two Charmys about. I can't even remember when he put this up. Lol. Edit - It had actually just seemed like a Sunday where as I'd actually stayed up til gone 1am on today (TUESDAY). Anyway between me testing it and then uploading it it seems the Gods of the Internets deemed it fit to make the page explode in a variety of funny spaced out images. This is now, after another hour, fixed - though in truth this involved me starting over with a new document and testing the bejesus out of it. It now works on both IE AND FIREFOX.

Edit #2 - The new banner has been found, but owing to me acquiring the official fonts its had a graphical (as well as pronouciary) tweak.

Brand new comic ahoy - sorry for the delay computer has decided it wants to be a right pain in the ass.

Also: I've fixed #S10's lack of header, uploaded a few more minor behind the scenes fixes and the forum has discovered that the updates I alluded too were headers for the non-front page set across Amy and Classic skins.

These were in the style of NiGHTS, Sonic Chronicles, Sonic Unleashed and SEGA Superstars Tennis. Another two advertised some sort of event occuring on June 16th involving something or someone, and one advertising what appears to be an imminent Live version of Radio Redux.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

Okay after an argument at Argos today (I blame Dreadknux and his evil Danish influnce) I finally got a USB wifi connector for my computer. This meant I could AT LAST move my PC upstaris into my bedroom and my new desk which inturn means I can start making comics again as - well - I have somewhere to sit and I'm not straining 100% of the time!

Anyway SOMETHING has changed on the site, or rather something has been added and a couple of things have been taken away. More of these "things" will be added in time - I'm not specifiying exactly what and where the item is thus rendering it a surprise for when you see it. I'll be keeping an eye on the forum to see when they spy it.

EDIT: The navigation menu was altered MONTHS AGO. Its nothing to do with that.

Apparently there is some hatin' on me at the moment - nothing new frankly, I'm used to being disliked for one reason or another. Apparently working for SEGA has "changed me" and I'm not doing the Community any favours or what not.

Bullshit.

I work my ass off 24/7 - and it IS 24/7, to try and make things better for you guys, the NiGHTS guys and any other people who fall under my games remit. Me going "above and beyond" has been noted, to give you a clue I started work 90mins early today in fact I'm working so hard on so many things I'm actually making myself ill over it. Ask Echo Hawk who is getting all kinds of worried about it.

I will always be a Sonic fan and part of the community and will stick up for you when the going gets tough - whilst there may be times where I get in contact and say "please remove this" because of thebreaking of an agreement etc, if an ISP is getting a bit pissy at you because of "copyrighted material" let me know and 99 time out of 100 I'll be able to step in and give you a hand - unless you've done something truly reprehensible.

I will NOT be held to ransom over it that it is for the "greater good". SEGA allow all sites - you, me, TSS, Yoda, SSN, Vegemite, Style, SSR, SEGA Radio, NiD, S2B, Retro, GHZ, FFM, ET-F'n-C to have media up because yes you are advertising their products but more because we're genuinely impressed with what you do.

However, if you post up details of a private SEGA FTP unsurprisingly you won't be on my Christmas list as you aren't doing yourself any favours in proving to those who still live in the world of print that the average Sonic fan is worth more personal attention than just a cursory nod of acknowledgement but after over 16 years is - y'know, worth consulting about the product. I'm constantly battling against those higher up who do not neccessarily see the value in what I and you guys do. That is not a personal slight against you by them - they simply don't understand the way it works online.

Incidentally, do you think I'm somehow the only person connected with SEGA who keeps an eye on the likes of CuLT? Do you think that things like this are somehow NOT seen before hand or at the same time by others and somehow ignored? Those that know me know I am a very outspoken defender of their abilies at finding titbits out within games - I think its cool. If I was SO completely anti-them would I reference their Sonic 06 discoveries in my interview with Bentley Jones? No.

Its my job to get coverage online - FACT and yes, I want you guys talking about the product as that generates said coverage in terms of reviews, etc. Those people who come to the community days and get the free games DO KNOW this - and they are invited on that basis, they are your peers and as such you are generally likely to listen to what they have to say. They are the bloggers, writers, broadcasters, etc. Their opinions are noted and looked for.

If that statement has somehow shocked you - oh dear.

Here's another one though: regardless of what you think or have opinions on there are those at SEGA, besides me, WHO CARE ABOUT YOU.

I will GLADLY include others within the community days as and when I can (though I am obviously limited in numbers), you know you can email me and say "look I do this, click here can you consider me for any community day in the future". You do KNOW that right?

Would I be trying to raise money with SEGA to support Summer of Sonic and make it a groovy - perhaps annual event if I didn't give a damn?

With regard to Race To Name, two things - without me Race To Name would not have happened and had SCD not closed down SW wouldn't have had a choice through its other staff - SW was agreed as an entrant purely becuase of the sudden gap that was left between high and lower tier UK related sites. That's all I'm saying on that matter. And yes some people do get extra merch, but that's because they help out on things that you do not neccessarily see.

So yes, there we go, I've completely wasted the time I gained coming in early having to write this and I'm fundamentally aware that in the end nothing will change but I'm not a faceless corporate monstrocity and I am one of you guys so that gives me the goddamn right to sound off straight back at you when you have a go at me - or people who I work with - or my friends.

1:15pm - Woo the GP has started, have the 360 and Wii UK packshots for SST!

Hiii everybody - well this week SUCKED all kinds of ass. First work is very very very busy at the moment for myself so my hair is rappidly being pulled out. Now my 360 Elite has died (red circle of death) followed in quick succession by my headset which means no RR show made this weekend. Bah.

What I have been able to do is sort out some new videos for Sonic The Hedgehog 06 which are now in the Depository. There is in fact six new videos across all four stories in fact its about 300Mb of video all told.

The first 4 videos are now available across all three main storylines now as well, I've filled in some of those gaps. I'll add more later no doubt.

Sunday looks like being a "get a comic done" day you'll be pleased to find out. Its also Ram's birthday on the 14th, so would be nice to get it done for then if I can't for the end of Sunday. More updates soon as SW goes back to its updating best ;)

EDIT: Audioness also now added, the dreaded Wonderman has returned to the Depositiry as well as Sonic Adventure Remix in its entirity. Enjoy.

EDIT 2: "OMG AAUK remembers my birthday! lol! *dies*" - OF COURSE I did.

EDIT 3: "XD YOU ARE EVERYWHERE MISTER EVA!!!!!!!!!" - Only most places sweetheart, only most places. 1 last video has been added to the Sonic 06 bastion - Last Story #4: The Resurrection Of Solaris.

All videos are now back online, as a minor addition the French version of the Sonic Rush manual has been added to the Depository. Bonne chance.

Okay no one noticed this apparently, but a large chunk of the Depository's video files, specifically those ending in WMV mysteriously vanished on March 27th. Now unsurprisingly I have been rather inclined to remember last year and a load of OTHER files of mine mysteriously being erased without informing me which you may also recall was sorted and has not happened since.

I'm reuploading now and have added a new SST video by way of an update. I'll also be talking to you know who about the situation which considering how busy I am at the moment with Iron Man amongst other games I REALLY don't need.

EDIT: A nice chap called Andy is sorting it out for me so that this doesn't happen again, I'm having to stay up late though to reupload all the files at a time when I REALLY need some sleep though. :(

GTA4 it is then...

What with version 45-Delta Tango of The Sonic Stadium online-sort of-maybe-ish you may have spotted they have initiated a rotating "witty" line on their banner. This highly original move has not been seen on a Sonic website before - honestly, we've no idea where he gets these ideas from.

To commemorate this stroke of creative genius a special new header has been added to the default header list. Laugh when you spot it. ;)

Okay I've naturally been very busy atm so SW has had to take a back seat - hopefuly we'll get back to regular updates very very soon. :)
