Here are the full list of news archives, y'know, if you really want to actually have a look at updates past and not-so-present.
The following is the list of Sonic Wrecks comics in numerical order; order reclassified as of 1st Feb 2009.

Sonic Wrecks Down...
...if you're seeing this that means that you yourself personally have access to the Sonic Wrecks RSS news feed which makes you either a cool handsome dude or a sexy sassy lady (whichever you'd prefer).
As you might well have seen Sonic Wrecks is currently down (down, deeper and down) whilst I do some "things" to it that may result in you having a rather major surprise.
Or minor. Or not at all if you can't be bothered.
In any case expect SOMETHING to be up by Sunday evening...

#309: Back In Black (& Red)
Back once again with the ill behavior, the former LiVE #104 episode is online once again and on RRPlay as well.
I've started with the script for the next comic, unfortunately I ended up spending more time on Version 6 in fact Blake Draco went so far as to refuse some multiplayer action becuase I was making such big progress!
Its looking awesome....

Header Challenge - Er, Help!
I can't remember which song one of the SW headers relates to. Little help?
"Where are we? I'm lost... Ah there we are, have a blast!"
I'm rather hoping the forum will know.

If This Was Wordpress We'd Have Funny Tags For This Post...
...but it's not so tough. Needless to say The Sonic Stadium is down again with database issues/appearing as a PSP version of itself; I think I'm gonna start calling them "Sicknote" at this rate.
This is all neither here or there to be honest, as I actually want to give you an update on the new version 6.0 which is rapidly taking shape. I'm thinking mid-February for this now, as I've really cracked on this week and got a tonne of stuff done. The front page infastructure is basically done minus some graphical tweaks and the staff who were "yeah, looks good" are now all "awwww that looks awesome."
Blake Draco described it best as he called it "TSS's hotter sister". Damn straight. I'm super hot.
I'm gonna try and sort out the new comic this weekend though and look into commencing the renumbering of the comics... which will be interesting!
ALSO... Now that Emerald Coast has an RSS feed I'm able to keep track of their updates more easily and all I can say is Vger's in for a whack around the knees with a rolled up newspaper at this rate!

It's Thursday & That Can Only Mean One Thing...
Yup, TSS is dead again. Honestly is it being powered by a hamster in a wheel? Currently you'll get an error message "Error establishing a database connection" we'll let you know when they return, but of course that means Sonic Wrecks... #1!
Greatest Sonic Website Transitional Champion EVER.
INDEEEEEED.
EDIT: TSS is now back up... and back down again... and now back up again.
Oh and Entherial Online has finally removed the Weegee plague but now it seems Ram The Dragon has taken over and set it on fire... still at least its up 24/7. Poor SSMB....

#308: The July SoS Update Show
Up once again - sorry for the delay, it turned out we had no show notes for this one. Thanks to the hard working Blake Draco.

Errrrr okay it's not one of OURS...
...though I AM writing the next comic, the number of which I'm not sure considering I'm renumbering them all. But it'll be called "1024's & Circuit Breakers" or something along those lines. It'll be storyline and feature a certain TRAITOR.
Er, should I say traitor-come-fiancee...? *COUGH*
Anyway out good friends at Emerald Coast (whom I maintain probably have our crown of best Sonic sprite comic now) have been paying tribute to Sonic Wrecks again. Check out the latest Just In Time comic here: here.

Email Out, Minor Fixes & Merch List Updated Again
IF you've sent me a message recently to any of the @sonicwrecks email addresses, you know queries, questions, fixes, images, links, topless photos (why the hell do I never get any of those? DAMNIT ALLLLLL!!!!), etc. You will need to send them AGAIN because there's some issues with the mail servers at Startlogic at the moment and I've lost a lot of email.
Some fixes made, specifically to Sonic 06's music page which - as I was told in the forum - had for some reason gained SEGASonic The Hedgehog's description text.
The Merch list has been updated, both with some corrections and some additions. Having acquired the final Sonic X comic my little treat for myself this month is to try and fill some gaps in the collection. So if you see a number in square brackets that means its coming my way. Annoyingly I know I DO possess 36, but don't know where the damn thing is.
Likewise I'm now pretty sure my Knuckles Chaotix comic is a reprint so its now labeled 1R.
Other things added are the SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection limited edition vinyl soundtrack - which if you check out the SEGA Europe Blog you'll be able to check out the details for.
As well as the SEGA Classics Limited Edition Vinyl, Sonic Rush Adventure Compass Keyring, Sonic Unleashed Hoodie, T-Shirt and Keyring, my Sonic X Production Drawings Set and a couple more things I've probably forgotton.

Ask Tommy Tallarico A Question!
Over on the Sonic City Blognik, which is run by someone or the other, you'll find a pretty great little offer as it seems they are going to have a Q&A with the one and only Tommy Tallarico some tracks from whom are going to be appearing in Sonic & The Black Knight.
The cool part is you guys get to submit the questions!
After a bit of detective work and some good fortune I've found some information on the "Sonic Spinner" - an interesting little piece and what is essentially a ticket machine. Check out the image below.
See what I mean? Well I've actually managed to acquire the full manual of the thing including showing all the electrics etc! You can find it through the Manuals page in the Despository or alternatively directly.

Splash No More....
The index splash no longer exists and the page news.php no longer exists either (well, it does but it just redirects). I'm doing this now as its part of the lead in to Version 6.
So what was the news page you all went to is now on the index/front page i.e. just sonicwrecks.com and the page news.php no longer exists. M'kay?

Now Don't All Call Me Crazy At Once...
...but I've started playing Sonic 06 again. This is mainly because I haven't completed it yet and I'd left Shadow (of all characters) 21% of the way through his story. I'm now close to finishing him in fact which would open the dreaded final story.
And you know, Sonic dying and all.
Anyway I got all nostalgic so I've put some more Sonic 06 vids up in the Depository. Seven all in all totalling an impressive 244Mb worth of new content to the Depository.
TSS Update: SSMB is going like a brick through treacle at the moment so if you're having problems you aren't the only one. Also if anyone does buy the yellow Hot Topic Sonic shirt and wears it at SoS like Brad "Slingerland" Flick suggests I will do terrible things to you. I bought that on the basis no one else would be wearing it at SoS 09. :P

#305: Happy Holidays
The next in line of the reworked shows, this was previously LiVE #102 - you can find it online again now though and its also back on the dreaded RRPlay. I've also fixed #304 on RRPlay as it was missing the 3 from its filename .mp3.

Lee Brotherton First Single Snippet Revealed!
Me ol' mate and Wrecks Factor judge (oh yes) Lee Brotherton in his Bentley Jones persona has put up a snippet of the first single of his debut album which is hitting the Japanese shelves.... in the not too distant future.
Called "Final Night" I was one of a select couple of peeps, and I mean a couple, who got to hear this at the beginning of the week mainly because Lee actually valued my opinion on it. Then again we've got a similar understanding of music we've discovered after our increasingly frequent and long phone calls.
PS: Apparently Lee now owes me a sour apple shot, he does read these things so I'll have a Japanese beer instead thanks! Strange to think Lee is younger than me... so young and with his promising career ahead of him. TAKE ME WITH YOU! ;_;
PPS: Made a slight edit to the Merch List as Umiyuri will be pleased to know my other Sonic The Hedgehog Archives book was at my mum's house and is now in my possession again... but its #4, not #1.

Princess Peach is a WHAT?
Sorry I've not been updating much in terms of "content" the last few days, this is because I've been working on SW 6.0 and also on Sonic City. What I want to share with you today tho is a wrestling match.
No, bare with me here: it's from the Chikara promotion and features the Super Smash Bros. a tag team with a classic video game gimmick, even so far as to follow video game rules. They are facing the tag team of Incoherance, which features a wrestler named Delerious whose gimmick is, well, he acts crazy and you can't understand him. However that night Player Uno of the SSB is all NES-ified and for once Delerious becomes somewhat audible, this leads to some fantastic interplay as Incoherance teases the SSB for being behind the times and start yelling various other game platforms during the match all of which are "better than the SSB are". Hell, even TURBOGRAFFIX 16 gets a yell.
It's bloody hillarious and is below.... be warned near the end Delerious makes the ULTIMATE insult to an Nintendo fanboy!

"Broken Base"
Blake Draco has just pointed me to the TV Tropes page which has some very interesting additions based around the subject of "Broken Base" - a civil war amongst the fanbase over issues. Considering the Sonic fanbase in general all the below is from the website. Does this sound familar to any of you?
On the Sonic The Hedgehog Series:
The Sonic The Hedgehog series, pre-Sonic Adventure and post-Sonic Adventure. Then there are the people who liked the old games, Adventure, Adventure 2and the new 2D games; easy enough to find if you're looking, but a peripheral glance at the fandom core makes one think they don't exist, mostly because they don't want to be caught in the crossfire.
Shadow the Hedgehog of the Sonic series is either considered to be the worst video game character ever made or the best thing to ever happen to Sonic. He's pretty much the Sasuke Uchiha of video gaming.

Extra Comment of Rapidly Growing Annoyance.
Oi, TSSZ. TSS. Both of you. STFU.
That's enough now, okay, or do I have to seperate you two like children?
You're not doing either of your sites or the community in general any favours with your tit-for-tat article 'our journalism is better than your journalism vs freedom of speech' bollocks, so stop. M'kay? STOP.
Have a ceasefire and leave each other alone for a while, eh?

The All New TSS (For Some...) and "That" Story
Firstly, I'm at home feeling very cold and with a bad stomach. :(
Secondly "That" story. Yes that one. TBH its kinda old news and I'm not unlikely to comment on it further here or anywhere else.
Thirdly Sonic Stadium have unveiled a tweaked new look, beating both SW and our comic colleagues Emerald Coast. It looks very nice... so long as you have Firefox. Sadly Dreadknux is known not to like Internet Explorer and doesn't seem to have checked that his nice new skin works on the world's most popular browser. EPIC CSS FAIL. Silly Catface.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon and if it isn't that'll be a problem.
(Incidentally the new SW is being tested in both FF & IE.)
